Andrea Cocco Hirai was born in Rome of Italian father and Japanese mother. He is a professional actor, but he has always had deep a passionate interest for cuisine, encouraged by being in deep contact with the culinary cultures from both his parents home countries. He cooperates with several restaurants creating original fusion dishes, both in Italy and Japan.
